Sahana-reply to your Q

Hi Sahana,
I couldn't reply to your Q about sound not travelling in vacuum because there was no button to comment. I posted this to answer ur q.
Sound travels by making particles vibrate. In space there are no molecules for the sound to vibrate and hence sound can't be heard in space ie vacuum. Sound needs a medium to travel.
